Zerocalcare opens a tavern: social soul and bulk wine

The place that Zerocalcare will open (as a financing partner) will be called Osteria Sauli in the heart of Garbatella. The Roman cartoonist, Born Michele Rech, according to what Gambero Rosso reports, he decided to dedicate himself to the project together with a historic innkeeper of the capital, Antonello Magliari, already very active with his La Barrique a Monti and Grappolo d’oro in Chancellery square. But not only that, becauseMichele Rech also wanted to involveLucia y Siesta,the house dedicated to women victims of violence, in the undertaking. Thus, Osteria Sauli will also have a social soul, dedicating itself to the training and employment of the women guests of the structure. The cuisine of Osteria Sauli will be that of the Roman tradition with the addition of Abruzzo dishes , land of origin from Magliari, and also from Puglia, thanks to the presence in the kitchen of Stefania Pinto, Antonello’s wife. Another peculiarity will be the bulk wine typical of Roman taverns, with the possibility of consuming only the classic quarter.
