Woman found dead in Bologna, investigations underway: it could have been an illness
A woman of about 40 was found dead in an apartment in Bologna: she was lying with injuries to her face and may have fallen due to illness

BOLOGNA – A woman not yet identified, but who according to initial information was around 40 years old and of foreign origin, was found dead in the afternoon in a house in via San Carlo, in the center of Bologna< /strong>. As far as we know, the body showed no signs of violence, but at the moment it has not yet been clarified whether the woman died of natural causes or not.
The police intervened on site, including forensic personnel, who carried out a long inspection of the apartment. The investigations are underway.
The woman, as far as we know, was found lying on the ground with wounds to her face. However, from the first findings it would seem that those wounds could not have caused the death.
The first hypothesis is that the woman sustained those wounds by falling, probably after having had an illness which caused the death.
