When does Serie A start again? The official dates of the next season

It starts again on the weekend of August 3-4, with the Italian Cup. Last day of the championship on 24-25 May 2025

ROMA – Not even time to process the European mourning that Italian football “schedules” the new season. The Lega Serie A has made official all the dates of the next championship, including those of the Italian Cup. It starts again on the weekend of 3-4 August, with the first preliminary round of the Italian Cup, and everything will end with the 38th matchday of the championship scheduled for the weekend of 24-25 May 2025. Four breaks dedicated to national team matches and only one midweek round, scheduled for 30 October. The Italian football weekend will be spread over four days, from the first advance on Friday evening to “Monday night”.
