North

First part of the day characterized by increasingly extensive clouds over the Alps, pre-Alps, Apennine mountains and adjacent Piedmont foothill areas with light showers; sky, however, initially clear or cloudy in the rest of the north. In the afternoon increasingly important clouds and intensifying precipitation; intense thunderstorms expected starting from southern Piedmont and extending towards Lombardy, Emilia, until reaching Veneto and southern Trentino in the evening; in the evening the rainfall diminishes in Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont and Liguria.

Centre

Clear skies or at most opaque due to passing fog. However, during the central hours, more significant clouds forming over the Apennines may give rise to some brief showers. From the evening cloud cover increasing over northern Tuscany with light rain at night.

South

Cumulus clouds, evolving during the day, close to the mountains with local showers, absorbing from the early evening hours; clear or at times veiled skies, due to passages of harmless high and thin clouds, over the rest of the south.

Temperatures

Minimum temperatures rising in the north, in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, the Marche Apennines, Sardinia, reliefs in Campania, Lucania, Calabria and Sicily, without significant variations in the remaining territory; maximums increasing in Mantua, lower Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Sardinia, central regions, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, central-northern Sicily and central-western Sardinia, decreasing in the Alps, pre-Alps and remaining Sicilian territory, stationary in the rest of the country.< /p>
