Very cloudy skies with scattered showers and local thunderstorms over Lombardy and tri-Veneto in the first part of the day, while more isolated phenomena will affect the rest of the north; In the afternoon, increasingly frequent thunderstorms are expected in Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and the north-east and which will intensify significantly in the evening and at night in Lombardy, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia with locally heavy rainfall.

Centre

Irregular cloud cover at times intense over the peninsular regions, with isolated showers and thunderstorms during the hottest hours over Marche and Abruzzo and more local over Umbria and inland and Apennine areas of Tuscany and Lazio, with local rain until the end of the day on northern Tuscany and the Lazio coast; on Sardinia even extensive clouding and some more significant thickening in the evening north-east of the island where the possibility of some light rain cannot be ruled out.

South

Variable cloudiness, even intense during the central hours when local and brief showers or thunderstorms will be possible in Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata and the Ionian sectors of Calabria and Sicily; clearing in the evening with the exception of the Molise, Campania and Basilicata sectors, where the coverage will intensify again. Clear or cloudy skies over the remaining Sicilian territory.

Minimum temperatures falling in Salento and central-eastern Sicily; rising in Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, northern Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Sardinia; almost stationary in the rest of the country; maximums rising in Romagna, central-southern Adriatic regions, lower Lazio, eastern and southern Sardinian coasts, Basilicata and Ionian Calabria; decreasing in Liguria, Lombardy and tri-Veneto; without significant changes in the remaining territory.

Weak variables in the north or mainly eastern on the Po Valley; weak southern forces on the central-southern peninsula with reinforcements on the Apennine sector; weak northerners on Sicily and moderate westerners on Sardinia with further reinforcements on the northern sector.
