NORTH

Very cloudy or overcast skies with scattered rain and showers, locally also thunderstorms; intense phenomena expected in northern Piedmont, Lombardy, Trentino and Veneto, extending in the morning also to Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Partial attenuation of precipitation in lower Piedmont, Liguria and Emilia-Romagna from the evening. Snow level in the western Alps and in the Trentino-Alto Adige mountains not below 2200 metres.

CENTRE

Coverage at times widespread across Tuscany, Umbria and Marche with scattered light rain and a few isolated thunderstorms, more frequent in the Tuscan sector; densifications with diurnal evolution also on the Abruzzo mountains with some local afternoon showers. It generally improves in the evening, even with large clearings in Umbria and the Adriatic regions. Clear or at most cloudy skies over the rest of the center and Sardinia.

SOUTH

Extensive cloud cover over Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata and Salento Puglia with isolated light rain associated with it and some sporadic afternoon showers in the Calabrian hinterland; rainfall absorbed in the evening with partial openings in the south of Puglia. Extensive but harmless high and thin veils over the rest of the south.

TEMPERATURE

Minimum values without variations in Sardinia and in the south, rising in the rest of the country; maximums decreasing also significantly in the north, Tuscany and western Sardinia, stationary in Lazio, Umbria and Campania, increasing in the rest of the country.

VENTS

Weak from the southern quadrants over Liguria, central-south and major islands with some reinforcements on the Marche coasts and Puglia; weak eastern ones in the Po Valley with local reinforcements on the Venetian and Romagna coasts, and variable on the rest of the north.
