NORTH

Over Liguria, the Emilia-Romagna Apennines and the Alpine and pre-Alpine sectors partially cloudy sky with further thickening and brief showers possible on the mountains during the central hours; veils also extended over the rest of the north in the early morning and thinning from the west

CENTRE

In the peninsular regions, initial irregular cloudiness will clear in the morning on the coastal areas, localizing itself on inland and Apennine areas with possible local rain or brief showers from late morning and in the afternoon on those of Abruzzo and Lazio; very cloudy in Sardinia, with local rain or brief showers during the central hours in the southern sector and thinning clouds from the north in the afternoon

SOUTH

In Sicily, abundant and even heavy rainfall until mid-day and improving but still with the possibility of isolated showers in the afternoon and stopping in the evening; scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms in Calabria and Basilicata and only partially stopping in the evening; in the rest of the south irregular, even intense clouds, with isolated showers or local thunderstorms during the central hours and generally stopping in the evening except for local persistence on coastal areas and the immediate hinterland of central-southern Puglia

TEMPERATURES

Minimum temperatures decreasing in Valle d’Aosta, Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata, southern Campania and central-southern Puglia, stationary in the rest of Campania and Puglia, Molise, lower Lazio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and South Tyrol and increasing in rest of Italy; maximums decreasing in eastern Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia, stationary in Molise, Abruzzo and Umbria and increasing in the rest of the country

TWENTY

Generally weak in the north except for local reinforcements on the central-southern Apennines and the coasts of Abruzzo, Molise and Adriatic Puglia and, until mid-day, on Liguria
