NORTH

Widespread rainfall, including thunderstorms, in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and north-eastern regions, with increasingly sporadic phenomena in the afternoon in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna and finally stopping in the early evening while they will persist until the end of the day in Trentino-Alto Adige , northern Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia; in the rest of the north, irregular clouds with residual scattered precipitation until late morning and new isolated thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and early evening, especially in Piedmont.

CENTRE

Scattered rain and showers, including thunderstorms, in the morning in the peninsular regions but only occasional in Abruzzo, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the internal and Apennine areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio and some brief showers also possible in the Apennine sector of Marche and Abruzzo; variable over Sardinia, with large clearings in the eastern sector and even intense clouds associated with local and brief rains in the western sector from late morning and afternoon.

SOUTH

Over Campania and the Tyrrhenian sectors of Basilicata and Calabria, even intense clouds with isolated rain or brief showers from late morning and afternoon; prevailing sunshine in the rest of the south except for clouds that evolve during the day on the peninsular reliefs with some brief showers possible on those of Molise.

TEMPERATURE

Minimum temperatures decreasing on the major islands, western sectors of Basilicata and Calabria and on Campania, Lazio, Umbria, Marche and Tuscany, increasing on Abruzzo, Molise, northern Puglia and Ionian areas of Basilicata and Calabria, without significant changes on the rest of Italy; maximums increasing in Piedmont, on the Romagna coasts, on the Ionian and central-southern Adriatic coasts and in the immediate hinterland, decreasing in the rest of the country, especially in Lazio, Sicily and the remaining south.

VENTS

Weak to moderate western over Sardinia with further reinforcements on the northern sector; weak southern forces on Liguria with also strong reinforcements on the western sector; weak western forces on Emilia-Romagna, Sicily and the central-southern peninsula with locally strong reinforcements on the Tuscan coasts, on the Apennine areas and on eastern Sicily; on average weak variables on the rest of the north with southern reinforcements on the coasts of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Also strong gusts during thunderstorms.
