Partial cloudiness and associated precipitation in the centre-north, minimum temperatures decreasing slightly in the south

NORTH

Partial cloud cover rapidly increasing in the morning and associated with scattered precipitation with a predominantly shower and thunderstorm character from late morning to early evening over all regions, especially Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with local evening persistence in Piedmont, Lombardy and Friuli-Venezia Giulia

CENTRE

Variable cloud cover in Tuscany, even intense from late morning to early evening when there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms especially in the central-northern sector; in Sardinia local rains or showers in the early morning on the southern sector while from late morning and in the afternoon isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected on the north and eastern sector of the island, with local persistence in the evening on the northern sector; on the rest of the centre, irregularly cloudy with mainly medium-high clouds, with scattered rain and isolated showers in the morning but improving in the afternoon with increasingly wider clearings in northern Marche, Umbria and Lazio and residual local rainfall in the afternoon in southern Marche and Abruzzo

SOUTH

On the peninsular sector, mainly medium-high clouds moving towards the east, with isolated rain and local thunderstorms which will still be probable in the evening over Campania, Basilicata and Puglia; More fragmented clouds over Sicily with possible short rains or showers from late morning and early afternoon in the eastern sector

TEMPERATURE

Minimum temperatures slightly decreasing in southern Sardinia, increasing in southern Sicily, Tuscany and in the north except for Liguria and Piedmont where they will be stationary as in the rest of Italy; maximums decreasing in eastern Sardinia, Sicily, northern Campania, Molise, the central peninsula and in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Piedmont, increasing in the north-eastern regions and the remaining south

VENTS

Weak northerners with local reinforcements on Sardinia; weak eastern and rotating from the northern quadrants over Sicily; weak southern forces with local reinforcements in Puglia, Basilicata and Calabria; weak variables on the rest of Italy, with a prevailing breeze along the coasts in the afternoon and with even strong gusts during thunderstorms.
