Minimum temperatures slightly increasing in southern Puglia and the Ionian sectors of Basilicata and Calabria, stationary in Valle d'Aosta and Trentino-Alto Adige

NORTH

In central-eastern Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and north-eastern regions, variable cloudiness, at times intense, with scattered and isolated showers or thunderstorms in the morning and in the afternoon, ceasing in the early evening and clouds thinning out at the same time with clear skies or slightly cloudy for the end of the day; mostly sunny spells in the rest of the north except for local rain or brief showers in the morning and in the afternoon in the rest of Liguria and the Piedmontese mountains.

CENTRE

Very cloudy in the peninsular regions with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms which in the afternoon will more directly affect Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo and the inland and Apennine areas of Tuscany and Lazio while on the coasts and immediate hinterland of the latter two there will be large clearings; clear sky over Sardinia.

SOUTH

Irregularly cloudy with predominantly medium-high clouds over Sicily and Calabria, with local rain or brief showers possible in the morning and early afternoon and which will be followed by even extensive haze; clear in the rest of the south, with clouds increasing from late morning over Molise and northern Puglia with associated local showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

TEMPERATURE

Minimum temperatures slightly increasing in southern Puglia and the Ionian sectors of Basilicata and Calabria, stationary in Valle d’Aosta and Trentino-Alto Adige and generally slightly decreasing in the rest of Italy; maximums increasing throughout the Alpine sector, decreasing in Emilia-Romagna, Liguria and the central-southern regions including the major islands.

VENTS

Weak to moderate western over Sardinia with further reinforcements on the northern sector; weak western ones on Emilia-Romagna, Sicily and the central-southern peninsula with reinforcements especially on the central-southern Apennines; weak variables on the remaining north with local eastern or northern reinforcements on the coasts of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto.
