ROME – Today’s weather forecast, edited by the Air Force.

NORTH

Mostly clear or partly cloudy skies, except for more compact clouds in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, also accompanied by local brief showers during the central hours.

CENTRE

Across all regions, large clearings with local densifications evolving during the day which will give rise to short showers or local thunderstorms during the afternoon in internal areas and Sardinian reliefs, as well as in the internal areas of southern Lazio.

SOUTH

Local rain in the morning in Calabria and also thunderstorms from the afternoon; isolated showers or thunderstorms with daytime evolution also in Campania, Basilicata and eastern Sicily; stable with clear or slightly cloudy skies in the rest of the south.

TEMPERATURE

Minimum temperatures rising in Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont and the major islands; decreasing in tri-Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, remaining central areas, Campania and Tyrrhenian Basilicata; stationary over the rest of Italy; maximum increases also markedly on Sicily, to a lesser extent on the remaining peninsular Ionian sectors and on Sardinia, Alpine and pre-Alpine reliefs, as well as on the Apennine ones in the north; without significant changes in the remaining territory.

VENTI

Generally weak in the north in the centre-south with local reinforcements until the early afternoon along the peninsular Ionian coasts and the mid-lower Adriatic coast; weak with variable direction to the north.
