NORTH

In Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, scattered showers and even intense thunderstorms in the early morning and again in the afternoon and evening; irregular clouds elsewhere with local rain or showers in the morning while scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, especially in Piedmont, Lombardy and Trentino-Alto Adige with phenomena extending into the evening also to the Piedmont and Lombard plains

CENTRE

Isolated rain or brief thundershowers in the morning in Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and northern Lazio, ceasing from mid-day with large clearings in northern Lazio and from late afternoon in the remaining regions; clear or slightly cloudy in the rest of the center with medium-high clouds increasing in the evening over Sardinia

SOUTH

Generally clear except for clouds until mid-day, with a further increase in the evening over Sicily and Calabria

TEMPERATURE

Minimum temperatures slightly decreasing in the centre-north and in Sardinia and Molise, stationary in the rest of the country; maximums increasing in Valle d’Aosta and Piedmont, decreasing in Tyrrhenian Sicily, Sardinia and the remaining peninsular regions, stationary in the rest of Sicily

VENTI

From weak to locally moderate western over Sardinia; weak southern forces with local reinforcements on Liguria, the coasts of the upper Adriatic, Puglia and Ionian areas; weak western ones over the rest of central-southern Italy and Emilia-Romagna with gusts in the Apennine sector; weak variables over the rest of the north
