The requests to Minister Sangiuliano for a letter: "Rapid interventions and projects"

ROME – The cinema-audiovisual workers tomorrow, Tuesday 4 June, starting from 10.00, will meet in Rome, in Piazza Santi Apostoli, to bring to attention of the institutions and public opinion “the dramatic situation in which the sector finds itself”. This is what we read in a note from the promoting associations coordinated by the #SIAMOAITITOLIDICODA Committee

THE REASONS FOR THE PROTEST AND THE LETTER TO SANGIULIANO

The organizers explain: “Thousands of workers in the sector are in fact currently without employment, but above all without any future prospects due to the management of ministerial decrees regarding the Cine-Audiovisual sector. Consequently they require economic support from the State, given the delay in issuing the decrees and consequent slowdown in production activities which entail a serious loss both in economic terms and in terms of contribution year for pension purposes; >bureaucratic and legal protection for the large sector of workers, currently a category understood as occasional and discontinuous without protection of labor rights and without a regular national contract; sector to quickly return to a productive phase, and a resolution of the pension contribution problems that have afflicted the category for years”. On this occasion, a letter addressed to Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano will be delivered to the Ministry, hoping for “rapid and planned interventions”.
