ROME – And so it was that Vasco Rossi became Milanese in all respects. The famous Emilian singer-songwriter received the City Parchment from the mayor Giuseppe Sala today in the proscenium of Sala Buzzati, in the headquarters of the ‘Corriere della Sera’. “I thank everyone, I thank the mayor for this recognition which honors me greatly and which I am very pleased to receive”, said Vasco. “Milan – he added – was the first city that understood me, I am very attached to this city, every time I came I felt good”.

From the day after tomorrow, Friday 7 June, the rocker from Zocca will pitch his tent for two weeks under the Madonnina, with seven dates at San Siro – with 58 thousand spectators at a time – all already sold out. The last live will be held on Thursday 20 June. “I came from Modena, the first time I arrived I felt like I was in New York”, specified the Komandante. But this is not the only link with the Lombard capital. “I have experienced this city in every sense, fully.
