ROME – The toll of the accident which occurred in northern Mexico during the electoral rally ofJorge Álvarez Máynez is nine dead and fifty injured. The tent, which hosted the presidential candidate’s stage collapsed due to the strong storms and bad weather that hit the entire region. Máynez and members of his staff managed to save themselves, while several people who were in the audience were hit by parts of the iron structure. Among the victims there is also a minor. The tragedy occurred in San Pedro Garza, which belongs to the metropolitan area of the industrial center of Monterrey.
