MILAN – Last night the agents of the fish hunting unit and the local police of the metropolitan city of Milan saved a roe deer which had been reported in danger near the A7 Milan-Genoa motorway at the height of Binasco. The operations were carried out in close collaboration with the personnel of the traffic police of the Novate Milanese section, of Milan Serravalle (the company that manages the A7) and of the ATS of Melegnano.
The animal, an adult female, had been reported the day before by the local police of Binasco. The agents of the fish hunting unit, who went to the site yesterday afternoon to carry out the necessary investigations, had verified that the roe deer was trapped in a long ditch that runs alongside the emergency lane. Around ten in the evening, the motorway was temporarily closed for about forty minutes. Meanwhile, the Metropolitan City agents recovered the roe deer, capturing it with the help of some nets without resorting to the use of narcotic darts . The animal, in good health, was subsequently released in a wooded area near Rescaldina.
