ROME – Fear in the streets of Hamburg, invaded by fans for the Poland-Holland match. It was around 12.30 when, during the famous march of the Orange fans, a man – on the Reeperbahn, towards the stadium – tried to hit them with an axe. Initially, the police tried to stop him by asking him to put down the pickaxe. Then they tried a spray. Intent on running away, the officers shot him in the legs. The man is currently in hospital receiving medical treatment.
