ROME – A new edition of ‘Open ITS! – Orientation exhibition for the choice of higher technical training’ took place today in Rome, at the ‘City of the Other Economy’, organized by Informagiovani Roma Capitale. The event offered a moment of information and orientation to young people who have recently graduated or are about to graduate, with an overview of the training and professional opportunities linked to the highly specialized courses offered by the ITS Academies of the Lazio Region.
The ITS (Higher Technological Institutes) Academies create two-year post-diploma courses, parallel to the university and directly connected to Italian companies, to train superior technicians capable of entering the strategic sectors of the economic-productive system, bringing highly skilled skills to the companies. expertise and capacity for innovation.
During the event, training offers and professional profiles were proposed at the ITS stands, with the distribution of dedicated material.

“Our courses – declares Adriano Cingolani, Marketing Manager of ITS/ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Academy – are completely financed by public funds and, in this case, by European funds. I courses have no costs that are passed on to the students, they last two years and are divided into two parts: a first lecture in our laboratories, where we tackle all the study subjects and course modules with a practical approach, a second part which includes a curricular internship at one of the foundation’s partner companies.
The ITS diplomas issue a fifth European level certificate and are not necessarily intended to be a training course, but a path to entry into the job market, because we offer courses that are indicated to us by companies, depending on their professional needs” .
ICT aims to train technicians in strategic areas for the economic development of the country such as technology, offering courses in IT, digital programming and security, digital data analysis, digital marketing and video production.
The post-diploma courses created by ITS offer highly qualified technical training to immediately enter the world of work and are created in collaboration with companies, universities, accredited training structures and local authorities.
