Social expedient to get around the electoral silence with a gag that goes viral in a few hours

ROME – Prime Minister Meloni’s social media machine continues to churn out viral content. Last night, just before midnight and the consequent electoral silence, the Prime Minister’s Instagram profile published a reel of her at the greengrocer’s. “Oh Daniè, don’t say anything, we’re in the election campaign “, says Meloni to the operator. “No, no,” the man replies. The prime minister at that point tastes the cherries displayed on the counter. “Delicious! What variety are they?”. The greengrocer turns over the price sign, and the writing appears: “Variety Giorgia”. As often happens, silence is worth more than words… all it takes is a social expedient.
