ROME – The migrant ‘mess’ in Albania? It’s quickly resolved: Giorgia Meloni herself is taking care of bringing asylum seekers back at the helm of her personal boat. Or at least that’s what the Spanish satirical news program ‘El Intermedio’ hypothesized, which in its last episode interviewed none other than our Prime Minister who, imitated by actress Cristina Gallego, seems to have a new idea to carry out her plans after the halt of the Court of Rome for the transfer of some migrants to the Italian center of Gjader. “Since the judges think that Italy is a hotel and want to torpedo my wonderful plan, I decided to take justice into my own hands. I rented a boat, I got on it myself to expel the n*ggers. But to Africa, because if you send them to Albania they’ll bring them back”, she says to the host and comedian El Gran Wyoming (pseudonym of José Miguel Monzón Navarro). After learning her plan, he asks her if she isn’t afraid of getting lost in the middle of the sea. The president, however, says she has everything under control: “Don’t worry, I have the perfect compass. I’ll know I’ve arrived in Africa when I see black people climbing trees and wearing old Real Madrid shirts“.
Then when the fake Giorgia Meloni seems to be lost in the middle of the sea, as in one of the most terrible of stereotypical narratives, she incites the migrants to row with a bongo: “Row! Row, black men. Row fast as if the Carabinieri were chasing you!“.
At the end of the sketch the host compares her to Silvio Berlusconi and says: “Mrs. Meloni has managed to do the impossible, making Berlusconi look good. She also does bunga bunga but with human rights”. And the impersonator of the Italian prime minister replies: “But what is she saying? I am a woman, I am a mother, I am a Christian. Don’t speak to me in African, speak in Christian. Goodbye“.
