The 3-year-old girl is the daughter of an imprisoned scion of the De Martino Camorra clan, operating in the Ponticelli district of the eastern area of Naples. The grandparents wanted custody of her, despite the total absence of any judicial regulation, and would have resorted to impositions, which became increasingly intimidating and abusive, with the little girl’s mother forced to suffer violence. p>

VIOLENCE AND INTIMIDATION TO THE MOTHER OF THE LITTLE GIRL

The Carabinieri of the Cercola lieutenancy investigated the facts, delegated by the Naples prosecutor’s office. This morning the soldiers of the Torre del Greco company carried out a precautionary custody order in prison issued by the investigating judge of the Naples court, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 9 people seriously suspected , for various reasons, of crimes of persecutory acts, personal injury and possession and carrying of weapons in public places, crimes aggravated by the mafia method for having resorted to the ability of theclan to intimidate De Martino.
The arrested were accompanied to the prisons of Secondigliano, in Naples, and Santa Maria Capua Vetere (Caserta).
