VIDEO | First ‘Open Its’ in Tivoli for orientation on high technical training

The meeting aimed at informing and orienting young people on the training offers linked to highly specialized courses offered by the ITS Academies of the Lazio Region

ROME – For the first time in Tivoli, inside the Scuderie Estensi, the ‘Open ITS’ event took place today, a meeting for the choice of higher education technique, wanted by the councilor for social services and welfare of the municipality of Tivoli, Maria Luisa Cappelli.

The meeting was aimed at informing and guiding local girls and boys, recently graduated or about to graduate, with an overview of the training and professional opportunities linked to the highly specialized courses offered by the ITS Academies of the Lazio Region.

The ITS (Higher Technological Institutes) Academies create two-year post-diploma courses, parallel to university and directly connected with some Italian companies.

“When young people come to us – explains Fabrizio Rizzitelli, president of the ITS-ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Academy – they see a potential connection with the world of work. Today over 500 young people attended the meeting and I noticed that many do not know what the ITS represent for the territory and Italy. The importance of the ITS Academy is confirmed by the amount of funding that has been allocated, through the PNRR, to the renewal of all the laboratories and instrumentation of the facilities. ITS Academy, which members will find from next year”.

For Mara Pinto, ICT Academy orientation manager, today’s event “was a success, because it represented an opportunity for the Tivoli area to give information to young people about the different opportunities of technological institutes high school. At 20, young people must make conscious choices, the ones closest to their aptitudes”.

Adriano Cingolani, Marketing Manager of ITS/ICT, was satisfied with the event in Tivoli because “we presented our post-diploma opportunities to young people in the area and, in our case, those in IT and digital communication”.
