BOLOGNA – Black smoke from the Palace of Versailles: firefighters intervened in force this afternoon at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, after an alert for a fire. Pictures of smoke are circulating on social media. The firefighters intervened around 3pm. According to the first information circulating, the fire broke out on a roof of the building. The visitors who were inside the palace were let out.
The official account of the Palace of Versailles writes on gardens are now open.
