ROME – “Serious” but “stable”: these words were used this morning to define the health conditions of Prime Minister Robert Fico, who has been hospitalized in hospital since yesterday from the Slovakian city of Banska Bystrica after being wounded by gunfire in an ambush. New updates were provided by Defense Minister Robert Kalinak. His assessment coincided with that released by the hospital director, Miriam Lapunikova. Fico underwent an hours-long surgical operation yesterday. The prime minister was shot multiple times, including in the abdomen. A 71-year-old man was arrested for the attack.

FICO IN SERIOUS BUT STABLE CONDITIONS

Premeditated murder: this is the formal accusation against the man who yesterday shot and wounded the prime minister of Slovakia, RobertFico. This was reported by the local broadcaster Markiza TV. In a post on Facebook, the Slovakian police added that they are working to monitor the spread of messages on social networks in which they express approval for yesterday’s ambush or which instigate to hatred and to carry out new acts of political violence.
