ROME – Moments of fear at the Campania Shopping Center in Marcianise, where last night around 10pm part of the false ceiling collapsed. Fortunately there were no victims thanks to the timely intervention of the fire prevention personnel, who, having become suspicious of a crack in the ceiling, immediately isolated the area. With a story on Instagram, the shopping center announced that “a tendon that came loose in a corner caused the collapse of the structure in the Piazza Campania area, causing panels to fall from the false ceiling in a few minutes.”
