PALERMO – The Councilor for Productive Activities of the Sicilian Region, Edy Tamajo, confirms himself as the record holder of preferences on the Island. After the 21,700 votes obtained in the 2022 regional elections, Tamajo also took the field in the European elections, collecting over 121 thousand votes in Sicily and Sardinia and winning the internal Forza Italia derby with the other government councilor Schifani , Marco Falcone. The latter, councilor for the Economy, is the second most voted in the FI-We Moderates in the Islands list with almost one hundred thousand preferences. In the Forza Italia listthird place for the outgoing MEP Caterina Chinnici: the daughter of Rocco Chinnici, father of the anti-mafia pool killed by Cosa Nostra TNT, collects over 93 thousand votes. Fourth position for Massimo Dell’Utri, a member of Noi Moderati also supported by Totò Cuffaro’s DC: over 69 thousand votes for him.
