BOLOGNA – A contribution of up to 1,000 euros to support parenting, for children and family members of working professionals. Epar launches it, the joint reference body of Cifa and Confsal, with the aim of supporting the professional studies sector.
From nursery or nursery school fees for children under six years of age, to that of RSAs for elderly and disabled family members, the measure also includes specific therapeutic or assistance interventions for family members suffering from serious disabilities .
Previewed at the Florence Labor Festival on May 18th, it will be active from June 1st, including a maximum financeable amount of 1,000 euros.
The idea of reserving resources for the employees of the professional firms of labor consultants “arises from the fact that our trade associations and our bilateral bodies are increasingly aiming to safeguard the worker and the person, so that their personal well-being and family is as guaranteed as possible”, explains Manlio Sortino, president of Epar.
In this sense, the voucher is “yet another tool promoted by the culture of bilateralism of the Cifa-Confsal system to support the well-being and serenity of workers in professional firms and work professionals in general and to encourage work-time conciliation work-life, with a work-life balance perspective that involves and protects the entire family sphere”.
This is why collaboration between the social partners is fundamental, adds the president of the Cifa business association, Andrea Cafà: “Like Cifa and Confsal we are committed to building a collaborative model which finds synthesis in our bilateral bodies Fonarcom , Epar and Sanarcom.
Two associative systems with a single objective. The activity we develop is based on the values expressed by our social partners but, from an operational point of view, it is expressed in our bilateralism”.
Cafà, who presented the device during a meeting dedicated to gender equality at the Florence Labor Festival, introduced with a video message from the Minister for the Family Eugenia Roccella, recalls that “training is good, because we must create culture, but then concrete actions like this voucher are needed and it now serves to give life to a reality of territorial welfare, to create a network of employment services because there will be no gender equality if parenting is not supported”.
Satisfaction is also expressed by the general secretary of Confsal, Angelo Raffaele Margiotta: “Measures of this kind are not only useful for the worker but also improve the company climate and lead to better productivity”. p>
