The Serbian champion was signing autographs after leaving the match and a water bottle landed on his head from above

BOLOGNA – Tennis player Novak Djokovic was hit on the head by a metal water bottle, or perhaps a can, which fell on him from the stands as he left the central court of the Rome tennis international after the victory against his French opponent Corentin Moutet. The tennis player had slowed down to sign a couple of autographs for some fans who handed over a piece of paper for a dedication. And at that moment, from above, something that looked like a bottle of water fell on his head. He immediately knelt on the ground holding his head.

The news was given by Sky Sport, which explains that the tennis player would have cut himself and blood would also have come out. At the moment the dynamics of the events are not clear: it could have been an accident, or a voluntary gesture, in this case reckless and dangerous.
