VIDEO | Bruno Molea (Forza Italia): “The EU supports the third sector and basic sports, they are lifeblood”

ROME – “The third sector is an essential resource for our country and represents the backbone of all those needs that citizens have, with great attention to the vulnerable. Unfortunately it has little possibility of glimpse support, especially structural support that will allow this large mass of volunteers to be able to work even better than what they are able to give today”.
This was said by Bruno Molea, president of Aics (Italian Sports Culture Association) and candidate for the European elections with Forza Italia, interviewed by the Dire agency.
According to Molea, “the country needs to identify lines of financing that can give the third sector that lifeblood so that it can become the instrument through which to better combine family policies, assistance to young people, assistance to the elderly and to all those within civil society who need help with particular reference to vulnerable categories”.
The candidate for the European Parliament then defended the role of grassroots sport, an economic and social driving force, and asked the EU, given the fact that “he demanded that small clubs sporting activities to have a VAT number”, to “create those concrete supports that allow them to ride this transformation, but at the same time not suffer economic damage with the risk of closing”.
Finally, he outlined the issues he would deal with if he were elected to the European Parliament: “Young people, family, work and social enterprises are daily bread for me since I moved within the third sector and in the world of sport So it is clear that my voice in Europe will always be projected towards these issues. Europe on its part must support the third sector, it must necessarily create those situations from a structural point of view that increasingly allow for a capacity for act”.
