VIDEO | Apple invented the anti-emetic iPhone: you can even watch it in the car without vomiting

"Vehicle Motion Cues" is the new feature that should reduce the effects of motion sickness while looking at your phone

ROME – Apple is keen to never let us take our eyes off the iPhone, not even in the car (this does not apply to drivers, obviously). And so she invented – she says – a way not to vomit, to prevent concentration on the screen while we travel from making us feel nauseous. It’s called “Vehicle Motion Cues”, and it’s a new feature that in theory should reduce the effects of motion sickness, otherwise known as “motion sickness”.

“Research shows that motion sickness is commonly caused by a sensory conflict between what a person sees and what they hear – explains Apple – this may prevent some users from comfortably using their iPhone or iPad when traveling in a vehicle in movement”.

The trick is to take advantage of the black dots which on the screen will follow the direction of movement of the vehicle thanks to the sensors integrated into the iPhone (or iPad) and will move, reducing sensory conflicts without interfering with the content.
