ROME – Blitz by Sue’s European candidate, Antonella Soldo, for light cannabis during Matteo Salvini’s press conference in the foreign press room. The woman interrupted the Northern League leader while he was answering questions, displaying a sign with the writing “Censor this“, in reference to a map of Marijuana, complete with mini hardback of the minister’s face.

Moments of tension whenSalvini snatched the map from Soldo’s handsto hide it under the table. “You smoke cannabis in your home, in my home it’s death,” says the minister. Then a sort of ‘battle’ for the microphone breaks out between the two, with the activist and the deputy prime minister intent on competing for it. Salvini repeated “Drugs are death”, while she repeated “You are propaganda, you are injustice”. Until Salvini started repeating on a loop “make love, don’t smoke pot”. And he concluded with “Peace and love”. After a few minutes the security service brought the situation under control.
