The artist reveals his friendship with the entrepreneur who returned to Italy after 24 years: "Two birthdays together"

ROME – Chico Forti was transferred to Montorio prison, in Verona, where he will serve the remainder of his life sentence for the murder of Dale Pike in 1998. Among the people he wanted to thank as soon as he returned to Italy were Andrea Bocelli and his family. “They never left me alone – he said – I won’t forget it”.

The artist, as soon as he heard these words, replied to the microphones of Tg1, connected from Brazil where he is on tour: “We did it! Miracles can happen”, he said. “We celebrated two birthdays with him in prison. When possible, we are in line to go and say goodbye to him”, confessed Bocelli’s wife, Veronica Berti.
