ROME – ‘I’m the one to blame?!’ One of the most famous exclamations in Italian cinema enters the latest work of the Roman street artist Harry Greb. Appearing this morning in via delle Grotte, near Campo de’ Fiori, in the mural Mario Brega, iconic character from ‘Un Sacco Bello’, a 1975 film by Carlo Verdone, repeats his joke while holding some threads in his hand hanging on one side the leader of the League Matteo Salvini and his candidate for the European elections Roberto Vannacci and on the other the prime minister Giorgia Meloni and the former undersecretary for Culture and candidate for the European elections with Fdi Vittorio Sgarbi, who holds a painting under his arm, reference to the legal case in which he is involved.

Represented as puppets, the four politicians wear trousers and boots reminiscent of those used by Mussolini, while Vannacci holds an upside-down book in his hands – in reference to his ‘The world upside down’ – which is entitled ‘ Am I wrong?!’. “It’s a provocation, I wanted to represent Italian politics at this moment, the theatre with puppets where however the lack of a political party which has become marginal for years is evident”, said the ‘artist, interviewed by the Dire agency.
