ROME – This morning at 11.55 the tennis matches of the ATP Tennis Tournament at the Foro Italico, of the men’s doubles between Gonzalez/Roger-Vasellin and Arevalo/Pavic at the Campo 12, and of the women’s singles between Keys and Cirstea at the Campo Pietrangeli, were interrupted by 11 people adhering to the Last Generation Repair Fund campaign. Four people took to the fields, throwing confetti, while other people among the spectators spoke up to remind the public of the climate, social and democratic emergency that our country is experiencing. A person in the audience glued their feet to the steps. At 12.03 private security, firefighters and law enforcement arrived. The private security of the APT Internazionali d’Italia roughly dragged out one of the people in the stands. The interruption of the matches lasted over 45 minutes.
