Two world champions on Ducati: Marquez will team up with Bagnaia

Official: the eight-time champion joins Bagnaia in the official team. Choice dictated by the sponsors, what kind of coexistence will it be between the two?

ROME – Just one world champion, even a reigning one, wasn’t enough for him. Ducati doubles: it has chosen – now it’s official – Marc Márquez to team up with Pecco Bagnaia. In Borgo Panigale they go all-in, despite any possible coexistence problems between the two.

Ducati has made the signing of Marquez official, after weeks of casting between rivals on the saddle of satellite bikes. The eight-time world champion has closed the contract for two seasons, until 2026 he will wear red and ride the official bike.

Marquez arrives in the official team, riding on sponsors: he was not willing to move from one satellite team to another, and he made it clear several times. Martín was the first to succumb to the war of nerves and signed with Aprilia, effectively announcing the coup himself.
