VALDITARA:  “BOOK AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR YOUTH TRAINING”

“I believe that the book is an essential tool for the training of young people – said the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, speaking on the opening day -. I supported it also in Brussels, in the Council of Ministers of the European Union, finding, among other things, a broad consensus and I see that many European countries are encouraging, if not actually forcing, the use of the book in primary schools. Because the book invites profound thought, invites a discussion with the author, favors the imagination, unlike the great ocean of the internet. Contact with the book stimulates four senses, because there is touch, there is sight, there is ‘hearing when you crumple the pages and fold them, but there is also the sense of smell because books have a wonderful scent.”
