Trips to Corsica and Sardinia: Moby’s season starts again from Genoa

Longer period and with different timetables during the summer that meet the needs of passengers

MILAN – On May 8th the “Classicissima del mare” restarted, the Genoa – Olbia route, one of the most loved by travelers who choose Sardinia for their holidays, a real “gateway” to the island, in particular for those arriving from Northern Italy and Northern Europe. For the summer of 2024, the bridge over the sea between Genoa and Olbia is extended until November 3rd, making the most of the extraordinary season that distinguishes Sardinia, also contributing to the deseasonalisation of tourism which has been so successful on the island in recent years. years.

Four ships will cover this route: Moby Aki, Moby Wonder, Moby Otta and Moby Drea with four night departures, two towards Genoa and two towards Olbia to allow everyone to modulate the journey according to their needs.< /p>

And what’s more, from 27 July to 1 September, additional daytime departures will be added, three from Genoa towards Sardinia and three from Olbia towards Northern Italy.

In the year in which Moby’s offer for Corsica multiplies, with new lines and the extension of the dates on which the historical ones are operated, the line between Genoa and Bastia and vice versa also returns, which leaves today and will go forward until September 30th, with different times during the summer that meet the needs of passengers.

For the outward journey from Genoa to Bastia, in fact, until August 14th, the departure will take place at 9pm with arrival in Corsica at 7am the following morning, while from August 16th the departures from Genoa will be at 11am with arrival in Bastia at 6.30pm. Conversely, trips from Bastia to Genoa until August 14th will be during the day with departure at 11am and arrival in Italy at 6.30pm, while from August 15th the departures will be at 9pm from Corsica with landing in Genoa at 7am the following morning.< /p>

Meeting the needs of passengers, ships with large cabin capacity will be used on the Genoa-Bastia-Genoa route and on the busiest days, from June to September, additional fast daytime departures will be added on weekends with Moby Aki and Moby Wonder, which will allow you to reach Corsica with an even quicker journey.
