Trenton opens its doors to the public, Giovetti: “Industry in the mountains? You can”

On Saturday 18 May, for a whole day, the company led by Carlotta Giovetti will offer unusual guided tours, as well as a walk towards the Emilian Pre-Apennines

FRASSINORO (MODENA)- ‘Discovering Trenton S.p.A.’ is the motto of the event conceived by the Frassinoro metalworking company to open the doors of its factories. On Saturday 18 May, for an entire day, the company led by Carlotta Giovetti will offer unusualguided tours, as well as a walk towards the Emilian Pre-Apennines.

“The occasion arose from a request that came to us from the young entrepreneurs group of Cna-Modena. Even though it was not the first time for Trenton, we decided to extend the visit to everyone, to anyone who wants to participate with friends and family members – explains Giovetti – It will be possible to understand, and above all we will see how metalworking works, but with a focus on two aspects that are fundamental for us: the generational transition, remaining in the territory, and the prospects of mountain industry, in which we firmly believe”.

In a sector, such as the manufacturing one, in which tradition must necessarily be accompanied by innovation, Trenton SpA has been able to produce with professionalism and competitiveness for several generations. Although mountain infrastructures can often represent an obstacle. The Frassinoro company, however, has transformed these characteristics into its mission, also managing to introduce innovative and valuable elements, such as gender equality and sustainability.

“My closest collaborators – continues Giovetti – have made themselves available with enthusiasm to guide the small groups that will visit each department. After a brief welcome introduction by me, at 11am, to explain the our history, the tours will begin with the general manager and with those responsible for production, logistics and quality. They will explain how the supply chain works within a production plant which is made up of connections, where every work phase depends on the others”.

A way to make every part of a large company known, told by those who really have ‘their hands in the dough’: each itinerary in the supply chain was designed by Trenton managers. At the end there will be a convivial outdoor moment. “We will offer visitors a backpack with a packed lunch– says Giovetti- and we will leave together for a short excursion towards our Apennines. It is a light walk, suitable for everyone , lasting a maximum of an hour and a half”.

And from 4pm, for those who want to stay, the Inclusivity Festival is scheduled in the Frassinoro square, dedicated to young people and sport. To participate in the ‘Discovering Trenton S.p.A.’ event you need to book by contacting Susanna Golinelli on 059.418581.
