ROME – A tragic and terrible death. In Calanca Castiglione, in the Anzasca Valley, in Piedmont, a woman originally from Trento died after falling from a cableway. The dynamics of the accident, according to initial reconstructions, are horrifying. The ski lift is not used for transporting people, but only luggage. And in fact, while the woman’s group was loading their suitcases for a stay in a cabin, the cableway suddenly started working. The victim got his clothes caught in the moving cabin: a few metres, then he fell into the void, from a height of 150 metres.
