GENOA – The ‘Genova che osa’ association delivered eight thousand signatures yesterday morning requesting the resignation of governor Giovanni Toti to the groups of the regional council. An appeal that adds to the over 40,000 emails sent after the initiative launched last Thursday on the occasion of the event in Piazza De Ferrari, Genoa. The delivery took place yesterday evening during the first session of the regional council since the governor was arrested.

Outside the headquarters of the legislative assembly there is also the banner “Against the mafia and corruption in politics“, already displayed on Thursday on the steps of the Palazzo Ducale. “Toti must resign, Liguria must return to the vote and the center-left must build a radical program with the aim of putting people before the profit of a few”, is the exhortation of Lorenzo Azzolini, spokesperson for the association.
