Three-year-old girl falls from balcony, it’s very serious

The little girl fell from the second floor and would have been alone in the house when it happened

BOLOGNA – A three and a half year old girl fell from the balcony of her home on the second floor and is in very serious condition: they are investigating the tragic episode, which occurred in Costa Masnaga in the province of Lecco the Carabinieri. The dynamics of the events have yet to be reconstructed, but it seems that the little girl was alone at home at the time of the flight, which took place around 4pm. The mother was at work and the father, according to what was reported by the online newspaper ‘La provinciale unica’, was left the house for a few minutes to pick up the other two children returning from school on the walking bus. The investigations are ongoing.
The little girl did not lose consciousness in the fall but suffered very serious injuries. She is hospitalized at the San Giovanni hospital in Bergamo.
