ROME – After having enchanted over half a million spectators, ‘This is Wonderland’ returns to Rome with a new live fairy tale: ‘Pinocchio – Back to Wood’< /strong>. After the great success of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, it is now time for a new exhibition itinerary that will lead spectators into a universe of lights and vivid emotions: at the Garden of the Waterfalls of the Laghetto dell’Eur strong> in a space of over 50 thousand square meters, light installations, new shows, performers and actors throughout the park are ready to make you marvel. Last but not least, also a unique food experience inside a hot air balloon.
Visitors will therefore be able to watch a show live with artists from all over the world, get lost in the Land of Toys and enter the mouth of the Whale as in the true story of Pinocchio.
A JOURNEY WITH PINOCCHIO
This year’s narrative invites viewers to follow the events of an unusual piece of wood, Pinocchio , the puppet with the extendable nose, witness to innocent lies, fruit of Geppetto’s ardent desire, bridge between the world of the imaginary and the tangible one. In this rereading, the story takes an unexpected turn: a clock that runs backwards gives Pinocchio the gift of discovering that one can always learn from mistakes. The journey therefore develops through a series of comical adventures, which will prove not only to be a learning opportunity for Pinocchio, but a mission: to learn from one’s mistakes and actively contribute to the improvement of others, demonstrating how , even through wrong steps, we can find the right direction.
