North

Very cloudy skies, with widespread showers or thunderstorms, gradually easing from the afternoon. In the evening, there will still be compact clusters in the Alps and pre-Alps, with light rain or scattered showers, and partly cloudy or hazy skies in the rest of the north.

Centre

Irregular cloudiness, at times intense, with scattered showers or thunderstorms, especially in the Tyrrhenian regions and inland Adriatic areas, generally easing in the evening; extensive veiling on the rest of the center

South

Compact clusters on Campania, the Tyrrhenian coasts and Basilicata and Calabria, and central-southern Puglia, with scattered rain or showers, easing in the evening on the Adriatic side; partly cloudy or hazy skies in the rest of the south.

Temperatures

Minimum temperatures decreasing in the south, central Adriatic regions, internal Tyrrhenian areas and Sardinia, increasing in the pre-Alps, stationary in the rest of the country; maximum decreasing in the north, major islands, Calabria and Lazio, stationary in Tuscany and increasing in the rest of the peninsula.

Strong mistral winds on the two largest islands; generally weak with variable direction over the rest of the country, tending to assume a breeze regime along the coasts during the hottest hours.
