According to Tehran media, the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing attempt. The helicopter has not yet been found and, as government officials have confirmed, the search is hampered by adverse weather conditions and in particular by fog. In his statement, Khamenei called on the population to “pray” and added:“We hope that God returns the honorable president and those who were with him to the arms of the nation.”
