ROME – The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, received the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, at Palazzo Chigi. At the center of the conversation were current issues on the Atlantic agenda in the context of the preparation of the NATO Summit in Washington in July. Meloni, we read in a note from Palazzo Chigi, in particular reiterated the Italian expectation that concrete decisions can be adopted in Washington in response to the challenges characterizing the Southern flank, in line with the approach 360 degrees to Euro-Atlantic security envisaged by the NATO Strategic Concept.
