ROME – Beneficiaries of social security and welfare benefits provided by the Institute can obtain the pension certificate (ObisM model): from 9 May, in fact, by accrediting themselves on the portal INPS.it, in the “Citizen’s social security file” section, the certificate is available to pensioners of all managements, including the former Inpgi-1 management which merged into the Institute from 1 July 2022.
The ObisM model is published annually taking account of the generalized activities for the revaluation of pensions and welfare benefits: in particular, for the year 2024, an increase in pensions was recognized in the January month for the adjustment to the cost of living, in based on the index forecastly established at 5.4% and applied according to current legislation.
The certificate reports, if due, the increase in pensions of an amount equal to or less than the minimum salary (pursuant to art. 1, paragraph 310, of law no. 197 of 29 December 2022 – Budget Law 2023) : this increase, for 2024, is recognized in the amount of 2.7% without distinction of the age of the recipient, for each of the monthly payments and until December 2024, including the thirteenth month’s salary.

It is possible to obtain the ObisM model by being accredited on the INPS.it portal through the usual channels: second level SPID (Public Digital Identity System); CIE 3.0 (Electronic Identity Card); CNS (National Service Charter); Device PIN issued by the Institute only for residents abroad who do not have an Italian identification document and, therefore, are unable to request SPID credentials; eIDAS (electronic IDentification Authentication and Signature).
In the event of a change in the pension amount, the pension certificate is updated at the same time.
Finally, please note that the certificate is not prepared for pension support benefits (social APE, extraordinary allowances, so-called “isopensions” pursuant to article 4 of law 28 June 2012, no. 92): not having the nature of a pension, they are not reevaluated annually and continue to be paid in the same amount for their entire duration.
