The Marosi Festival returns to Stromboli, scheduled from 26 to 30 June: what you need to know

The VI edition is inspired by Bach on the theme of 'Gold Variations'

ROME – The 34 events of the VI edition of the Marosi Festival scheduled on the island of Stromboli from 26 to 30 June are an emblem of multidisciplinary research and experimentation in the arts. Giulia Ferrato’s project directed by Ferrato with Anna Basti is a profound way of recovering the artistic dimension experienced within nature, for nature and with nature. Dance, performing art, installations and sound art are the mother trajectories in which the Sicilian festival develops, which over the years has grown increasingly internationally and which establishes a special opportunity for cultural tourism, involving artists and companies from Italy, Malta, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia who will illuminate the island with their creative magma for five days. An edition that investigates the theme ‘Gold Variations’ because the source is the thirty Goldberg Variations for harpsichord/piano composed by J. S. Bach in the 17th century.
