The influencer Siu has emerged from a coma. What doesn’t add up in the husband’s story: all the doubts

The influencer has come out of a coma but is still hospitalized in intensive care: investigations are underway to understand several unclear aspects

BOLOGNA – The influencer Siu has come out of a coma: 30 years old and of Moroccan origins, the influencer from Biella Soukaina El Basri (this is the girl’s real name) is hospitalized in the hospital ward. Resuscitation in Novara hospital after being injured on Thursday 16 May. The main suspect is her husband Jonathan Maldonato, who was arrested yesterday for attempted murder (he is now in prison). However, he denied being involved. Some witnesses (including friends of the girl) said that the man was very possessive and jealous and that the influencer (tired of being controlled in a maniacal way) had decided to leave the house where they lived for separate from the man and start a new life with girls. Siu had reported him for mistreatment in May 2023, then last December he withdrew the complaint. Apparently, the gambling to which the husband is addicted was also complicating the relationship.

AGGRESSION

Siu, 81 thousand followers on Instagram, was hospitalized last Thursday invery serious conditionswith a chest wound and a laceration of the mammary artery at the Maggiore hospital in Novara. Her husband is accused of hitting her with a sharp object. But he denied the allegations, instead claiming contradictory things. First he said that she had fallen, then he said that the fall was not real but that she wanted to kill herself and that he intervened in an attempt to disarm her. The couple lives in Chiavazza, a hamlet of Biella, in Piedmont. They have two little girls, aged 6 and 5. The girl, upon arriving at the hospital, initially said: “I fell on a piece of furniture and cut myself.”

Certainly, there are some things that don’t add up in what happened, including the fact that the husband may have entered the apartment when it had already been seized and moved some things. In fact, the prosecutors spoke of “seals violated“. The villa was seized shortly after the events, on 18 May. But a coat, which was on a chair at the time of the seizure, was found on the kitchen table in recent days. Who moved it? In fact, on the morning of Monday 20 May the man’s car was stopped for about an hour near his home. Did he enter the house to move or take some things? On Wednesday, the day before being arrested, Jonathan Maldonato had tried to enter the intensive care unit to see his wife.
