‘The Family’ debuts on Canale 5, broadcast from 8 July, from Monday to Friday, at 2.45pm. The protagonists of ‘The Family’ are two stars of the increasingly popular powerful star system of the Land of the Crescent: Kivanç Tatlitug (Brave and Beautiful, The Girl and the Officer) and Serenay Sarikaya (Medcezir), both Instagram phenomena, where Tatlitug (@kivanctatlitug) and Sarikaya (@serenayss) are very popular with, respectively, 4.6 and 10.7 million followers.

At the center of the plot of ‘Aile’ (this is the original title), shot between Istanbul and Izmir, the surprising and unexpected love story between Aslan, a young crime boss, and Devin , an equally young and brilliant psychologist. He is the head of a powerful crime family in Istanbul and she has managed to make a name for herself in the profession, thanks to her valor and talent. In addition to feelings, they have family members with mental disorders in common. They won’t be the only obstacles to their love story.

After his father took his own life, Aslan took over the family’s shady business: the Soykans are at the head of one of the main criminal gangs in Istanbul. As the leader of the clan, the charismatic Aslan, in fact, faces conflicts of all kinds. Devin Akin, on the other hand, is a young woman who grew up without love: her mother is bipolar and her sister suffers from a borderline personality disorder. The woman lacks self-esteem and self-confidence. The lives of the two protagonists intersect, on board the same flight to Izmir. The attraction will be fatal, from the first moment.
