ROME – ‘Two-parents exist, even in violence’. A Roman social worker says it bluntly, with barely concealed embarrassment, in this unreleased audio received by Dire’s editorial staff to a father who lives with his three children. strong>who decided to move to Rome with him and leave the house where they lived with their mother, accused and reported for mistreatment so much so that the code red was triggered.
The report dates back to 2022: Elena, the eldest of 16, ends up in hospital with scratches on her cheeks, a noticeable hematoma on her face, her hair pulled. He decides to go and live with his father, together with his brothers, who witnessed the scene in terror: Laura, 14, and Marco, 12 (ed., the names are all fictitious). At the time, the principal of the school attended by the girl, alerted by the teachers, had also filed a report. It wasn’t the first time it happened to Elena, in front of her brothers but also, as she said, in front of her classmates and friends. ‘Gualtieri must know how the capital’s social services behave, which target children who are cared for and loved, continuing to fuel schools of thought and organizations and alleged experts and associations that make money at the expense of minors while still supporting false theories such as parental alienation, useful only to hide violence”, says this father, recalling that parental alienation has been disavowed in all forums, yet alleged experts and social services continue to fuel it in disguise.
Because today he is the parent who finds himself in the dock while social services, going outside the limits of their mandate, as a complaint, would like to force minors to follow a ‘forced’ path of rapprochement with their mother, who today they see in ‘protected’ meetings twice per month, as decided by a ctu and confirmed by a judge.
FATHER ON TRIAL FOR CHILD ABDUCTION ASKS FOR HIS CHILDREN TO BE HEARD
The one accused of being alienating, which usually happens to mothers, this time is precisely a father who asks that his children be listened to, that their wishes be accepted. The three boys, however, excellent at school, united and determined to be with their father, continue to live under the lens of social services.
‘We are prescribed a route and a Family Center where we can carry it out’, says the father who adds: “The services also seem to be in a great hurry to start”. Furthermore, a path that essentially responds to the dictates of the disavowed theory of Pas: the name of the project is evocative Overcoming barriers Family Camp. “There is no alienating parent, there is one who has had violent behaviour” underlines this father, who denounces how ‘the minors have never really been listened to by social services despite being of an age that would allow it’ and the Reform Cartabia in theory says it clearly: beyond criminal matters, minors in civil matters must be listened to and their reports must be considered. Furthermore, the Reform, as also put under examination by the Observatory on institutional violence which was established within the Femicide Commission, continues to be disregarded.
KIDS RISK OF ENDING UP IN A FAMILY HOME
This father’s legal battle began in 2015 and in 2019 ended with equal custody of the minors after a CTU and listening to his eldest daughter. The father from Rome had rented a house in Lombardy where his children lived to comply with the provisions of the decree, paying a maintenance allowance as required by the judges. After the worst episode of violence of all, in June 2022, the three children beg their father to return home with him and move to Rome, where they still live today. THE CHOICE OF CHILDREN ‘After the violence they suffered, I looked after the children every day for over 4 months, accompanying Elena (the eldest) until her eighth grade exam, where she obtained the highest grade in the class and school, 10 and praise. In mid-June I attempted to accompany the boys to their mother, they refused to get out of the car despite their mother’s insistence. Today they are serene, happy, calm. They had all the meetings, none skipped, with their mother, both in person and remotely, and they expressed several times their desire to continue to see her only remotely twice a month. I never missed an appointment with the social services and with the mother, always accompanied, punctual and did what was asked of them,’ he continues in his story to Dire. Yet it is not enough: the ‘tested’ mechanism accused of perpetrating institutional violence provides that these children must be forced to stay with their mother, through compulsory projects and courses. The emails requesting feedback to begin this journey are pressing, the man reports. Is there still the specter of the family home? Because this usually happens when you don’t obey the dictates of supporters of parental alienation. “SOCIAL SERVICES DO NOT LISTEN TO CHILDREN” They have just returned from an international school victory for their younger sister when this father tells the story to Dire: “It was a great emotion.” The mother ‘never accepted either the boys’ choice to want to be with me, nor the decision of the equal court – this courageous father explains further – The parental difficulties I faced were many. Immediately after the Court’s decision, the children expressed discomfort with their mother’s disinterested conduct and her choices to maintain various relationships with ‘special friends’. Social services on the other hand go beyond their mandate by trying in every way to justify the violence, not listening to children who are now of an age of awareness in a dishonest attempt to accuse me of Pas. The mother – just to mention another – called the social services of the Municipality, the same ones to which the children are currently entrusted, to testify against me in the child abduction proceedings against me. The social services therefore – concludes her complaint – force a young woman who has been beaten to see the mother who inflicted violence on her. The Pas was designed precisely for this: to not believe minors. Are they the same social services that carry out campaigns to combat violence against women?’ he asks ironically: yes, they are the same ones, the posters in the interview rooms bear witness to this. THE ACCUSATION: “MY CHILDREN HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE WITH ME, BUT I FEEL UNDER THREAT” ‘They use taxpayers’ money to fuel their interests and I must also feel threatened because they remind me that they are the custodians of my children’, the father continues. They, as if Elena, Laura and Marco had no one and had been abandoned. They… as if the three boys had not chosen to live with the parent who makes them feel calm and secure, they who have explained all their reasons.
‘The mother – tells the father of the story – he has filed countless complaints for stalking, defamation and child abduction. And in the end therefore whilethe reports of violence against the mother were archived due to the tenuous nature of the fact, I was investigated for child abduction and today I am on trial, despite the first instance court, after a new CTU, has ruled not to allow direct access of the mother to the children and has asked the judge to evaluate the family home for all three as an option. After several hearings, the judge decided at the end of 2023 to entrust the minors to the social services of the Rome Municipality concerned and to place them with me, regularizing the entire period 2022-2023 in which they were in Rome without authorization with specific decrees. So once again a CTU establishes, listening to the minors, that they cannot return to their mother, but instead of leaving them with their father where they live today and from whom they have asked for help, he would like to divert them to a family home. /p>
It happened in Cuneo that four brothers were taken away from their mother in that case with the where they lived and wanted to escape a father currently on trial for violence. They were split up and taken to different foster homes. Their determined and very hard battle brought their case to the attention of Italy: thus some children were forced to go on hunger and study strike to be believed and return to their mother with whom they asked to continue living. It was thought it could remain an emblematic case and also the last. And yet it happens again, this time in Rome.
